Kaiser & Johnson Inc. manufactures custom-size wooden shipping containers & pallets for light to medium loads, as well as for oversized and heavy loads. We also manufacture MIL-SPEC boxes & pallets in accordance with the required federal or ASTM specification. Plywood-cleated shipping containers with interior waterproof or moisture-vapor proof linings are also available.
We offer a Military packaging & shipping service for prime & sub-contractors selling their non-hazardous products to the Dept. of Defense. Some of the most commonly items packaged and shipped are heating & cooling units, aircraft spares & ground support equipment, diesel engines, turbochargers, generators, vehicle parts, etc.
Job-site crating for ocean export is another service available for items such as hydraulic equipment, heavy machinery, crushers, electronic control panels, industrial power equipment, computer equipment, signage, and various aircraft spares & ground support equipment. Moisture-vapor proof & vacuum sealed bagging of products is also an option we offer.
All lumber purchased by our firm meets or exceeds the heat-treatment requirement for export shipments containing solid wood packaging. We can also apply our ISPM-15 compliant "IPPC-HT" stamp on boxes, crates and/or pallets upon your request (additional charge will apply).
